When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.  ~Kahlil Gibran

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.  ~Author UnknownSee More

I found this quote on facebook today…

I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it. – Shaw.

I heard this quote during a class in my 20’s. My employer hired a “specialist”  to reinvigorate our customer service team. I do not remember much from the class but I have always recalled the above quote and posters of pigs around the room. Other than that, some silly games and role-playing. What is my point?

I have never forgotten this quote…I remember it, but do not always “remember” it when necessary. I have wrestled with many pigs during my lifetime, and sadly, have always regretted it, as I feel dirty, and the pigs feel good. ((((((sigh((((((

I am posting this quote to my blog to ALWAYS remember not to get down and dirty, but to remain upright AND clean.

Cheers!

LOVE this quote!

“Cowardice asks the question – is it safe?
Expediency asks the question – is it politic?
Vanity asks the question – is it popular?
But conscience asks the question – is it right?
And there comes a time when one must
…take a position that is neither safe, nor
politic, nor popular; but one must take
it BECAUSE it is right.”

“You are not here to fix anything, because nothing is broken, but everything is continually changing and expanding. Release your struggle, and seek joy and fun, and in doing so, you will align with the fantastic expanding rhythm of this Universe.”

Barcelo Los Cabos Palace Deluxe

My husband and I just returned from Barcelo Los Cabos Palace Deluxe where we spent five glorious days. It was both a business and pleasure trip and probably one of my all time fav vacations. Truth be told, Mexico is not one of my favorite destinations but this place is just spectacular. While there is a lot to do and explore, it was the beauty and peace that overcame me. I did leave the resort for a glass bottom boat activity which again was beautiful and peaceful.   A short shopping trip in town followed. I returned to Barcelo, immediately donned bathing suit and returned to the pool where friends and new acquaintances were waiting, along with LOTS of reading material.

I do not recall a time when I would/could say that I enjoyed spending most of my time at the resort and extremely happy to do so.
